SPEARS CHOOSES TO BE COMFORTED BY PAP BOYFRIEND
Troubled star BRITNEY SPEARS chose to seek refuge in the arms of her new love ADNAN GHALIB following her release from hospital, according to reports.
The singer discharged herself from Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on Saturday (05Jan08), after being admitted to hospital following a four-hour stand off during which she dramatically refused to hand over her sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline following a scheduled visit on Thursday night (03Jan08).
But reports allege Spears sought solace from British photographer Ghalib following her ordeal, much to the disdain of her friends and family.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Britney is on the edge. It's worrying - and ironic - that the only person she feels she can turn to is a paparazzo. It's like the lamb going to stay with the wolf pack. Britney knows Adnan because he has followed her relentlessly for months."
Earlier this month, Spears allegedly missed the original date for her court-ordered deposition in her fight to regain custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, from ex-husband Federline
After having dinner in Cross Creek, a bra-less Britney Spears sent paparazzi on a wild goose chase following her strange antics from location to location. She made not one, but two toilet stops - the first at Walgreens 24-hour pharmacy where she came out holding a video camera, and the second at a gas station where she held her nose until she returned to her car. Her peculiar behaviour didn't stop there - the singer made another spontaneous stop to take pictures of a building before taking refuge in a photographers car.
