Nineties pop sensations the SPICE GIRLS are set to delight fans across the
world - by officially announcing their plans to reform.
Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown aka Mel B , Melanie Chisholm and Geri
Halliwell have ended months of speculation over a possible reunion of the
famous fivesome, and will confirm details of the reunion at a press conference
next Thursday (28Jun07).
The band are rumoured to be embarking on a 25-date world tour later this year
(07), and will reportedly earn $20 million (£10 million) each for their part in
the reunion.
Earlier this month (Jun07), Beckham hinted of a possible reunion, saying,
"We'll see what turns out, but between you and me, I'm really hopeful that it
definitely will happen."
Chisholm also revealed she had been persuaded by British rockers the Kaiser
Chiefs to consider teaming up with her former bandmates.
The Spice Girls split in 2001, three years after the departure of Halliwell
in 1998. (JC/WN&WNWCMIR/IG)
