Headline : Brewery Puts Photos Of Rescue Dogs On Their Beer Cans To Help Them Get Adopted

4 Luv of Dog Rescue has teamed up with Fargo Brewing Company to feature hard-to-place pups on a range of beer cans featuring their portraits.

The rescue group has dubbed their long-term resident canines as “One-der” dogs. “Our One-der dogs are dogs that will live their best life in a home by themselves and there’s no other pets,” Jerad Ryan, a volunteer at 4 Luv of Dog explains.

“So, they can be a little bit tougher to find homes for, foster homes, that type of thing.”

For Ryan, these dogs are particularly special, and he even provided foster care to a “sweet, energetic lady” pup called Bizzy.

Ryan wanted to find an alternative way to find adoptive families for Bizzy and the other homeless dogs at 4 Luv of Dog, so he came up with a creative idea. “I was always trying to think of ways to promote her and the other less fortunate dogs in our rescue,” Ryan said.

“At my job at Northern Plains Label we produce labels for breweries, and I just had the light bulb style idea to feature the dogs on beer cans.”

Fargo Brewing Company produced the new beer can designs, featuring 6 adoptable pups from the 4 Luv of Dog shelter - Nyx, Bizzy, Jensen, Hobie, Moby, and Virginia. They even had a local event where people could buy the special edition six pack of the Fargo Original Larger and meet one of the dogs from the campaign.

Fargo Brewing Company says, “We hope that having these dogs featured on the cans will help raise awareness and shine a spotlight on them where they might normally have been overlooked.”
