Watch A Truck Get Destroyed By Californian Fire Retardant Air Drop
Jaw-dropping footage shows the devastating effects of fire retardant dropping on a vehicle.
A demonstration of a low drop of retardant was carried out on a pick-up truck at a Californian airport in August.
Cal Fire (California Department Of Forestry And Fire Protection) want to raise awareness about the risks during a low altitude VLAT (very large air tanker) drop.
In the demo, just 9,000 pounds of the red substance was released, whereas a VLAT can drop over 170,000 pounds.
