Amazing Scar Left In Ground Left By Lightning Strike

This is a shocking scar left by a lightning strike that was discovered Monday (24 June).
Staff at the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) therapy centre in Huntsville, Alabama, were left thankful the strike happened at the weekend.
Upon arrival at their office they were met with a scorch mark several metres long in the grass.
Leslie Walker, Community Engagement Manager, commented: “Looking to get “charged up” on this Monday morning but not sure this weekend lightning strike at our office was exactly what we had in mind.”
Asked whether they were OK, they commented: “We’re great and happy it happened when we were away from the office.”
