There are even switches inside with authentic labels including Mr. Fusion, Anti-Gravity, and Flux Capacitor.

Matt explains: “Doc Brown's design philosophy must have really sunk in after watching Back to the Future ten thousand times: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?" I think that really holds for no matter what you're building or doing. The way I see it, if you're gonna do anything, why not do it with some style?”

“The body is made out of styrofoam insulation that I glued together and carved into the shape of a Delorean, fiberglassed, and painted with metallic paint.

“There is a six horsepower lawnmower engine in the front powering a 24 inch fan that provides the lift. The 36 inch thrust fan in the back is powered by a 23 horsepower Briggs and Stratton twin cylinder utility engine.

“It took about 4.5 years to get it operational for it's debut in August 2012, and I've been continuously working on and improving it since then. It can go 88 mph in theory, 31 mph in practice.

“I really think this is the most fun watercraft you could possibly own! It’s ridiculously fun just to drive and to play with, and it’s fun to see the joy in all the people around you when their minds are blown and they beg you for rides! This craft has given me the time of my life, so many amazing memories, new friendships, and opportunities.”
