Wildlife photographer Robin Morrison captured lovely images of a young swallow being fed on the edge of the River Exe at Powderham, Devon.
Robin explains: “A juvenile swallow realises that the adult parent bird is coming back with food from behind. So, the juvenile turns around in just enough time to be fed by the adult. Then the juvenile loses its balance. Seen on a fence wire with a number of swallows at on the edge of the River Exe.”
