Authorities in Florida are investigating why the ground opened up and swallowed several trucks in Florida early on Wednesday (3 July).
No injuries were reported at C&A Trucking, near Orlando International Airport.
The business owner suggested the sinkholes or fractures may have been caused by the draining of a lake on a nearby property.
Orange County Sheriff's Office said: “Several trucks were swallowed by the hole, there was one man who stays in a mobile home on the property - he was not injured.”
Mynews13.com reported civil engineer Julian Coto, who works for the truck yard, saying: “This area isn’t prone to sinkholes, so we are going to do some geological testing and determine what exactly is going on and how to put it back together again and fix it."
